1. Do not pull the brush up and down in the tube. To load the brush with mascara, rotate it inside the tube. Pulling up and down lets air enter the tube, which speeds up the drying of the formula.
2. Use eyelash curler (if desired) before applying mascara.
3. Avoid applying mascara in a straight line, as this can weigh down lashes and cause them to fall out. Apply mascara from the roots upward in a gentle zigzag motion.
