The Japanese created a skin cleansing system that became revolutionary – the two-step cleansing method (“double cleansing”), which fundamentally changed the approach to skin cleanliness. Even the famous French beauty house Guerlain – one of the oldest and most prestigious representatives of perfumery, cosmetics and skin care in the world – admitted: “No one has yet created a more effective and advanced skin cleansing methodology than the Japanese. Stage 1 – renewal of the upper layer of the skin
The Japanese understood that in order to deeply cleanse the skin, you need to start with what is invisible to the naked eye – dead cells and fat-soluble impurities. Therefore, the first cleansing stage is based on squalane – a gentle but extremely effective ingredient that seems to connect with the skin, dissolves dead cells and impurities, and then uses the foam in stage 2.
It is important to know that you do not need to use water in step 1.
Stage 2 – deep cleansing with foam
The second stage is a cleansing foam that penetrates deeper into the pores. If in stage 1 we polish the surface of the skin, dissolve dead cells, then the foam enters the pores and, like a sponge, draws out all the dirt. The foam absorbs like a sponge what could not be removed in the first stage. And it is in stage 2 that we rinse with water and absorb the dirt that has settled on the surface and absorb it from the inside with the foam.
